Fayette County Public Schools responds after new accountability data released

For the first time since 2018, no FCPS school received the lowest federal rating. There have also been increases in proficient test scores, particularly a 3% rise in middle school reading and a 7% in math. Despite these achievements, FCPS leadership emphasizes the need for continued improvement and individualized support for each student.

2 shot, 1 critically injured in Devonport Drive shooting

Lexington Police reported that two individuals were in the incident, with one victim sustaining -threatening injuries and the other non-life-threatening injuries. Video shows courthouse shooting that took the life of Letcher County judge

Lawsuit: Man died confined in full-body restraint inside Montgomery County jail
