A close look at birds passing through the Gulf Coast (photos)
SUMMARY: As cooler days approach, thousands of birds are migrating south, with many passing through Fort Morgan along the Gulf Coast. WKRG News 5’s Taylor Boyon highlights how the Banding Coalition of the Americas tracks these birds, providing vital data on species populations and conservation needs. Wildlife experts safely capture birds to measure and band them with tiny ID bracelets before releasing them back into the wild.
