Organization targets urban areas to encourage voting

Alicia Young, a senior at Tougaloo College, emphasizes the importance of registering youth as they represent the next generation capable of driving change. Through initiatives like Democracy Divas, which registers individuals at nightclubs, they have successfully registered over 30 people in one night. Young advocates for youth engagement in democracy, suggesting that empowering younger voters can lead to positive shifts in perspectives among older generations. The registration deadline is approaching, highlighting urgency.
