Published

on

www.youtube.com – 11Alive – 2024-10-01 15:21:18

SUMMARY: Concerns are rising about a pollution plume in Ragale County, particularly regarding its impact on local quality. In contrast, nighttime brings a lower atmospheric boundary layer, trapping pollutants close to the ground, leading to worse air quality. This phenomenon explains the recent mornings’ fog and low visibility. As nighttime approaches, winds will calm, again exacerbating pollution problems. Tomorrow, a shift to northerly winds may alter the plume’s direction, but air quality issues will persist until a chemical offloading is complete.

have said once they and store the chemicals, the plume should dissipate.
