ONLY ON FOX13: Woman carjacked outside of Memphis apartment complex speaks about terrifying incident
SUMMARY: A woman named Aasia Akbar was robbed at gunpoint in Frasier when two 19-year-old men approached her as she parked her car. They threatened her with a gun, forcing her to relinquish her Chevy Malibu and personal items. After the robbery, police located her car just five minutes away, occupied by five men, including suspects Davius Dun and Quentes Richmond. The suspects fled on foot but were apprehended. Akbar expressed deep trauma and hopes the offenders face serious consequences for their actions. Both suspects are charged with carjacking and possession of a weapon, scheduled for court on Monday.

Nigerians take to the streets for Calabar Carnival – The Tennessee Tribune
SUMMARY: The Calabar Carnival, known as “Africa’s biggest street party,” attracted thousands of revellers to Nigeria’s southern port city this weekend. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the month-long event included vibrant parades, performances from at least 14 bands, and dancers showcasing the diverse ethnic cultures of Nigeria. Participants danced to popular Afrobeats, while some costumes referenced the city’s historical ties to the Atlantic slave trade and colonialism. Music stars like Runtown and Iyanya performed at a concert, with the band Calas Vegas claiming the title of best carnival band. The carnival aims to draw visitors from around Nigeria and the diaspora.

Hawaii, Louisiana top list of 10 worst states to work in 2024 | National
