'Looks like a war zone' Tornado causes damage in Raleigh, North Carolina

EPA, EPD assessing BioLab chemical fire in Conyers | FOX 5 News
SUMMARY: A fire at a biolab facility on National Highway has led to road closures and evacuations in the area, impacting approximately 177,000 people. The fire, which began this morning on the roof, was initially controlled but reignited around noon due to a chemical reaction with sprinkler water. The Rockdale County fire chief has confirmed that the fire is now contained, but a large plume of smoke persists. Officials are advising residents to shelter in place and the EPA is on-site for assessments. The situation remains under control, but evacuation orders and road closures will continue until further notice.

Many areas still flooded after Helene moved through Georgia
