Dry and quiet. Tracking tropics
SUMMARY: This Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the weather remains dry with mostly clear skies across the Gulf Coast and Southeastern Louisiana. Temperatures are reaching the mid to upper 80s, slightly above the seasonal average. A stationary frontal boundary may bring partly cloudy skies into the weekend, but a cooling front is expected later in the week, potentially increasing rain chances. In the tropics, Tropical Storm Isaac is weakening in the North Atlantic, while Tropical Storm Joyce is also expected to diminish. A newly formed Tropical Depression 12 in the Eastern Atlantic could strengthen into Tropical Storm Kirk, but poses minimal immediate threat.
