New Orleans Weather: Warm, less humid weekend with very few rain chances
SUMMARY: Good morning and happy Saturday! We’re enjoying beautiful fall-like weather, with temperatures in the upper 50s to mid-60s. The lakefront is warmer, reaching the mid-70s. Today, tailgating is pleasant, with temperatures rising into the low 80s by kickoff. While humidity will increase later in the week, the weekend will be delightful. We continue to monitor the tropics, including the remnants of Storm Helen and a new area of potential development in the Caribbean. Temperatures in the upcoming days are expected to be slightly above average in the upper 80s. No significant rain is anticipated soon.
Enjoy another fall-like start to your weekend as temperatures remain in the 60s and 70s with dewpoints in the 50s or 60s across both sides of Lake Pontchartrain.
