Lowndes County sheriff says sexual battery arrest is one of most disgusting cases heโs seen
SUMMARY: Lou County deputies arrested 42-year-old Clarence CJ Stockman for allegedly sexually abusing his foster daughter. Sheriff Ed Hawkin condemned the case as “one of the most disgusting” he has ever encountered, highlighting the betrayal of trust as foster parents are meant to nurture and protect children. The investigation began in August when the foster dad and the teen were reported missing; she was later found and disclosed the repeated sexual assaults during a forensic interview. The teen is now in custody of child protective services, which is struggling with a shortage of foster homes, exacerbated by such horrific incidents.
It’s one of the most disgusting cases the sheriff in Lowndes County said he has ever seen.
