Clarke Fest 2024 Offers Something for Everyone
SUMMARY: Ronda Kelly from the Clark County Chamber of Commerce discussed Clark Fest 2024, set for Saturday, September 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Arusa Park. HPD: 2 arrested in connection to commercial burglary
SUMMARY: The Hattiesburg Police Department arrested Ivan Miguel Mendes Lopez and Christopher James McRainey early this morning for a commercial burglary that occurred on Wednesday. Police responded to an alarm on Broadway Drive around 2:20 a.m. and apprehended the suspects on West Pine Street 30 minutes later. During questioning, officers discovered that the pair was also involved in a previous burglary earlier this month on Highway 49. Both Mendes Lopez and McRainey face two counts of commercial burglary and have been booked into the Forest County Jail.
