Volunteers for Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner prepare to feed thousands of people
SUMMARY: The Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving dinner is set to feed 25,000 San Antonians this Thursday, with volunteers busy preparing at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. Volunteers emphasize that the dinner offers more than a meal; it provides community spirit and support for those in need during the holiday.
Hundreds of volunteers started preparing meals on Sunday morning that will feed 25,000 people on Thanksgiving.

Volunteers, nonprofits step up to help San Antonio community for Thanksgiving
SUMMARY: With Thanksgiving approaching, several turkey giveaways took place across San Antonio. Reverend James Robinson and volunteers hosted the 21st annual Thanksgiving giveaway on the east side, distributing over 1,000 turkeys to a long line of cars. Organizers emphasized the need to give back and help others, with participants expressing gratitude for the assistance. Many said it felt like extended family, particularly for military members away from home.
On Saturday morning, thousands of free turkeys and other Thanksgiving food staples were given out to neighbors all over San Antonio.
