City and state leaders broke ground on Highway 182 revitalization project in Starkville

The initiative aims to revitalize the area, fostering economic growth by transforming undeveloped properties and vacant lots. Funded by state and federal grants as well as COVID-19 relief funds, the project has been in planning since 2016 and is expected to be completed by 2027.

Much-needed improvements are coming to Highway 182 in Starkville.
