SUMMARY: Storm Francine caused significant damage in Mississippi, leaving around 11,000 customers without power in Jackson alone. Entergy New Orleans CEO Deanna Rodriguez emphasized that customers should not expect calls about power restorations. To aid the recovery, Entergy has mobilized over 1,500 workers to restore services. Compared to previous months, their response time has improved. Most of the destruction was caused by fallen trees rather than structural damage. Homeowners are advised to review their insurance policies, as coverage for tree removal varies. Entergy anticipates restoring power by tonight or Friday as the storm moves north.
