Los Angeles hit by 4.7 magnitude earthquake, no damage reported
SUMMARY: A 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck California this morning, with its epicenter located approximately 3 miles northwest of Malibu. Following the main quake, over a dozen aftershocks occurred within a two-hour period. Fortunately, there have been no reports of damage or injuries linked to this event. This tremor is part of a series of recent seismic activities in Southern California, as just last Saturday, a 3.9 magnitude quake was recorded near Ontario.
A live camera at the 115-year-old Santa Monica Pier, one of L.A.’s most famous landmarks, showed several seconds of intense shaking during the quake.

Mother makes desperate plea after AMBER Alert issued for missing Katy teen
SUMMARY: The family of missing 15-year-old Alexa Jones from Katy, Texas, is urgently seeking help after she disappeared over a week ago. An Amber Alert was issued after Alexa was last seen on December 13 around midnight. Her mother emotionally described the family’s distress, recalling a happy movie night before Alexa went missing. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office, alongside Texas EquuSearch, has intensified efforts to locate her, with volunteers actively searching for clues. The family pleads for her safe return.

Punishing rushing attack leads Texas to berth in Peach Bowl with 38-24 win over Clemson
