Aerospace company to create 31 jobs with $11.75 million investment in Mississippi Delta
SUMMARY: Greenville Kearns Aerospace Maintenance (GKAM) is investing $11.75 million to enhance its aircraft maintenance operations in the Mississippi Delta, aiming to create 31 new jobs. This investment will retrofit two hangars for aircraft painting and hazmat management, increasing the total job commitments to 281. GKAM, which specializes in maintenance and overhaul for military and civilian aircraft, has operated in the region since 2022. This expansion positions GKAM as one of the largest aircraft depots in the U.S. and the largest veteran-owned small business nationwide. The expansion is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2025.
