Tori Alvarado's forecast for 9/9/24
SUMMARY: Tropical Storm Francine has developed off the east coast of Mexico and is expected to strengthen into a Category 1 Hurricane by Wednesday, impacting Louisiana and Mississippi with heavy rainfall, fast winds, and potential tornadoes. Despite the upcoming storms, Mississippi is currently experiencing sunny conditions with temperatures in the lower 80s. This week, clouds will roll in as temperatures drop to the upper 70s due to the hurricane. Although the rain is much needed amidst severe drought conditions, it will lead to muggy weather. By the weekend, clearing skies and mid-80s temperatures are anticipated.
