16-year-old girl facing murder charge after fight in Starkville

SUMMARY: In Starkville, 16-year-old McKenzie Robinson has been charged with murder and aggravated assault after allegedly several people with a car, resulting in the of 48-year-old Cynthia Dy. The incident occurred at Bookville Gardens Apartments around 10 PM. A neighbor who witnessed the tragedy expressed shock upon learning that Robinson was the driver. The coroner’s office confirmed Dy’s death, stating she was not involved in any altercation but was outside to retrieve her child. Starkville have announced that the investigation is ongoing.

A 16-year-old from Starkville is being charged with murder a Friday night fight.
