Judge orders Trump campaign to pause use of Isaac Hayes' 'Hold On, I'm Coming'
SUMMARY: The family of late soul icon Isaac Hayes is engaged in a federal court battle with Donald Trump’s campaign over the unauthorized use of Hayes’ song “Hold On, I’m Coming.” The song, performed by Sam and Dave, was played at a Trump rally, but a judge issued an injunction preventing its use, siding with Hayes’ family, who argued the campaign did not obtain proper licensing. Trump’s lawyer expressed gratitude for the decision, emphasizing the importance of artists’ rights. Other musicians like Beyoncรฉ and Bruce Springsteen have complained about Trump using their music but have not pursued legal action.

Officials provide update on efforts to find man accused of wounding 5 people in I-75 shooting
SUMMARY: Authorities in Kentucky are intensifying their search for Joseph Couch, a suspect in a series of shootings on I-75, after an 11-day manhunt that has covered over 28,000 acres of the Daniel Boone National Forest. While Couch remains at large, officials have decided to increase police patrols in Laurel County, focusing on community reassurance rather than extensive forest searches. Since the incidents began on September 7, where multiple cars were shot at and five people were injured, authorities have received over 400 tips. Continued police presence has been established, especially around schools, to enhance community safety.
Joseph Couch is wanted by Kentucky officials after shooting, wounding five people on I-75 on Sept. 7.
