Tropics Update: Monitoring The Latest Disturbances, Could See Development Later This Week

SUMMARY: In the tropics, three areas of interest are being tracked: two in the Atlantic and one in the Northwestern Gulf of Mexico. The system near the Cape Verde Islands has a 20% chance of development, while another system outside the Lesser Antilles shows medium development potential. By Tuesday, a tropical depression or storm could form as it moves into the Caribbean. Forecast models are uncertain about its trajectory, which may either head west into Mexico or north into the Gulf. Additionally, a low-pressure trough off the Texas–Louisiana coast may enhance rain chances midweek.

SUMMARY: Markieff Jackson has been arrested in Huntsville for a shooting incident that occurred Monday evening on Lance Wood Drive. He faces charges of aggravated first-degree assault against a non-family member and is detained on a $30,000 bond. Police arrived at the scene shortly before 4:30 PM and found a victim suffering from life-threatening injuries.

Huntsville Police said that Markeith Jackson has been arrested for the shooting on Lancewood Drive that happened on Monday.

“Arti Gras” aims to improve small Mobile park
