Theatre in the Pass celebrates 10 years of production
SUMMARY: Theater in South Mississippi is celebrating its 10th anniversary with an encore performance of its inaugural production, David Rimer’s play “New York,” focusing on the long-term effects of the 9/11 attacks. Director Andrew Kloski explains that Rimer wrote the play to shed light on personal stories of those affected, including pilots and teachers grappling with safety fears. While it didn’t succeed in New York, it resonated elsewhere. The performance features local actors, including some from the original cast, and will take place at the Randol Community Center from September 5-8, with tickets available online or at the door.
10 years later, Theatre in the Pass is performing an encore of its first production.
