Teen arrested after 4 killed in Dalton | FOX 5 News

SUMMARY: In Dalton, four men are dead following a violent shootout at a park, with a 16-year-old now in custody facing four counts of felony murder. The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office reported that the tragic incident occurred during an apparent robbery involving contraband. Neighbors described the night as terrifying, hearing what sounded like fireworks due to the excessive gunfire. Two victims were from Dalton and two from Rome, aged 17 to 21. Authorities are investigating further, though they do not currently believe the shooting was gang-related. Family notifications for the victims are underway.

2 arrests made in connection to DeKalb County Jail
