Part of I-55 will be closed in Madison County this weekend
SUMMARY: On August 25, Ridgeland police announced minor traffic delays on Interstate 55 due to power line installation by Entergy crews starting at 7:00 a.m. I-55 North will close at Colony Park Boulevard, with traffic diverted to exit the interstate. Drivers can access U.S. 51 or Main Street in Madison for alternate routes. Additionally, I-55 South will be closed at Madison Avenue, with similar diversion routes suggested. The closures are expected to last less than two hours.
