Mississippi teen murder suspect appears to fall asleep in court
SUMMARY: Carly Madison Gregg, a Mississippi teenager, is on trial for murdering her mother and attempting to kill her stepfather at 14. During the defense’s presentation, Gregg appeared to fall asleep in court amidst witness testimonies. The trial focuses on her mental state rather than the fact of the murder. Expert testimony indicated Gregg suffers from Bipolar II Disorder, and her medication changes might have affected her mental stability. However, conflicting evidence from home security footage suggests she was calm after the incident. Gregg will not testify, and the trial continues with intensifying arguments from both sides.
