Interview: Project Hercules is dedicated to mothers who lost children
SUMMARY: Lisa Davis introduces Project Hercules, a campaign dedicated to supporting mothers who have lost a child. The initiative began after her own tragedy on November 20, 2019, and aims to provide tangible support to grieving parents at the Women’s Hospital in Tupelo by delivering gifts. This year, gifts will be collected until November 20, honoring her son’s birthday. Davis emphasizes the importance of a support network for grieving parents and encourages the community to help by donating items from their Amazon wish list, which includes grief-related books, memorial jewelry, and figurines. Donations can be dropped off at select locations in Tupelo.
