SUMMARY: The Mississippi Lottery Corporation, operational since November 2019, has contributed over $500 million to the state, with $125 million going to the education enhancement fund. In June, $9.1 million was transferred, concluding fiscal year 24. Communication director Mag Anderson noted steady ticket sales since the lottery’s inception, and all subsequent years have yielded over $80 million annually. New scratch-off tickets are released monthly, including the $5 “Cruisin’ the Coast 3” and others with prizes up to $100,000. Scratch-offs are popular due to their immediate winnings, alongside traditional draw games like Powerball and Mega Millions.

Since selling tickets since November of 2019, the lottery has sent more than 500 million dollars to the state.
