Train derailment reported in North Little Rock
SUMMARY: A Union Pacific Freight Train derailed near West 13th Street in North Little Rock early this morning, involving 14 cars, mostly carrying grain, with a few empty tankers. No injuries were reported, and no hazardous materials were spilled. Union Pacific is managing the situation by disconnecting the lead trucks and relocating them to a double-tracked area to clear the intersection. Currently, there is no explanation for the derailment, and officials state that the Amtrak route in the vicinity is not expected to be affected. Crews are still working on clearing the scene.
The North Little Rock Fire Department confirmed that 14 train cars were derailed near Doyle Venable and MacArthur Drive.

Suspect in second apparent Trump assassination attempt appears in court
