SUMMARY: The Bermuda High, a high-pressure ridge, is influencing the path of a tropical disturbance, showing signs of shifting westward. This change may push the disturbance more towards the western or Florida, although uncertainty remains. The system is becoming better organized with thunderstorms but lacks a closed circulation, currently existing as a surface trough. The European model has shown a split in potential developments, with some scenarios favoring the Eastern Gulf or Florida. The GFS model expects the disturbance to remain weak and unorganized. Meanwhile, Southeast and Southern Mississippi may not face direct impacts, as focus shifts to local heat and potential rainfall.

Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin says while we did see a slight change in the Euro models, there still remains a great deal of uncertainty.
