Police cut ties with 1st Phorm after founderโs rant against female cops
SUMMARY: Please provide the content you would like me to summarize, and I’ll be happy to help!
Two of the region’s largest police departments have cut ties with St. Louis businessman Andy Frisella after he made disparaging remarks about female police officers during an expletive-laden rant on his podcast.
The statements were made on the September 12 episode of Frisella’s podcast, โReal AF,โ while he and on-air cohort Davione Johnson were discussing the fallout from a traffic stop involving football player Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins.
Frisella, creator of the 75 Hard fitness challenge and co-founder of Supplement Superstore and 1st Phorm, told Johnson that a lot of officers have a power trip and then he singled out women.
โโฆThere’s a lot of police officersโto be completely honest, especially women police officersโwho fโโ try to emasculate men. They try to make men feel like they’re being dominated or they’re being, you know, that they have power over them. And, bro, the quickest way to escalate a situation is to do that to a grown man, you know?โ Frisella said.

Child care providers owed thousands in delayed subsidiesย
SUMMARY: Childcare providers are facing financial difficulties due to delays in state subsidy payments, exacerbated by a software transition at the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. This transition has caused communication issues, leading to slow processing of subsidy claims, with providers owed substantial amountsโone reported $17,000. Families already qualified for care cannot secure spaces, impacting availability due to half-capacity operations. While the state is offering additional American Rescue Plan funds to help, providers argue it’s insufficient to cover their losses, prompting calls for consistent monthly payments from the state to stabilize their finances amid ongoing difficulties.
Lisa Scheer at Baden Christian Child Care Center says most of the families they serve need help paying for child care. Their tuition is supposed to be paid for through state subsidies.ย
