Hattiesburg chapter of Habitat for Humanity puts wraps on 72nd home

A dedication ceremony took place, celebrating the completion of the Bobby Moore family’s home on Park Avenue, marking Habitat’s 72nd construction in the area. Moore expressed her joy and gratitude for the home, where she will with her grandchildren. Habitat for Humanity assists low-income families by requiring them to save, contribute volunteer hours, complete financial literacy courses, and maintain a manageable debt-to-income ratio, offering affordable mortgages as a result. Construction of the 73rd home is set to begin soon.
