Police Chief John Quaka highlighted community cooperation in solving these crimes, as a tip led to a search warrant and the arrest of Zarius Donald, connected to eight burglaries of unlocked vehicles. Another suspect, Jordan Smith, was arrested after a witness reported a burglary. Chief Quaka urged residents to lock their doors and avoid leaving valuables in sight, as burglars tend to target easily accessible cars. Both cases will be presented to the Lee County grand jury.
