SUMMARY: The Petal Children‘s Task Force, a pedal-based food bank feeding hundreds of families each month, received a $5,000 donation from Aera Group Mississippi. This financial boost will significantly aid the organization in purchasing necessary food supplies, covering nearly half the cost of 12 pallets of food, which typically totals $10,000. Additionally, Aera Group donated three dozen backpacks filled with supplies for families affected by fires or natural disasters. Founded in 1989, the task force has a long history of helping those in need, and looks forward to a continued partnership with Aera Group. The first donation the task force received was $500 from the Petal Area Chamber of Commerce.
