Neshoba County Fair to feature heightened security measures
SUMMARY: This year’s Neshoba County Fair will implement increased security measures including the use of a thermal imaging drone by the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) to patrol the fairgrounds. This decision comes after a series of car burglaries in the area. On social media, the NCSO posted a video of two men, Jimmie Aaron Smith and Jacob Scott Ladd, attempting a vehicle break-in. The two are now in custody and face charges for six car burglaries as well as theft from a cabin and camper. The fair runs from July 26 to August 2.
