The alleged offenses were reported to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office by an 18-year-old and a parent. Sanchez is charged with three counts of sexual battery, based on evidence presented to the district attorney’s office. Sanchez had been part of the band program at Stringer Attendance Center in Jasper for several years and was hired by Northeast Jones on July 1st. He is no longer employed by Jones County Schools and only participated in the band.
