Authorities seize 33 dogs, 1 iguana in Tate County animal cruelty bust
SUMMARY: A man in north Mississippi, Tommy Dean Douglas, was arrested for animal cruelty after a search by the Tate County Sheriff’s Office at his residence on Prichard Road. Officers seized 33 dogs and a large iguana. Douglas faces charges including aggravated animal cruelty, simple assault on a law enforcement officer, and disorderly conduct.
