Mississippi couple welcomes quints at UMMC

SUMMARY: Ashley and Tyler Myers of Laurel, Mississippi welcomed quintuplets on July 5 at University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). The babies, three girls and two boys, were born via caesarian section at 27 weeks gestation and are all receiving care in the neonatal intensive care unit. Franklin Walker, Carter James, Saylor Kate, Allie Ray, and Nova Mae range in weight from 1 pound 11.9 ounces to 2 pounds 0.8 ounces. Ashley, initially pregnant with twins, discovered five babies at eight weeks. The Myers, married for seven years, have two older daughters, Paisleigh, 3, and Westlynn, 2.
