SUMMARY: Happy Tuesday! Today started wonderfully as I spent time with a girl empowerment group, TGI (The Greatest Investment), during their empowerment camp for 12-17-year-olds in Sumter County. They learn leadership and life skills, do community service, and have fun. We discussed weather and the importance of goals. Current weather: winds have calmed to 5-15 mph, with some gusts over 20 mph. A non-tropical system is impacting the Midwest, causing gusty winds and potential showers till the cold front passes tonight. Wednesday will be quiet with seasonable temps; it’s hot but less humid. Heat intensifies by the weekend with potential showers.

Two arrested for burglary in Calhoun County
