During the -long program, educators tour significant Mississippi landmarks to enhance their understanding of American history. This knowledge is intended to be shared in their classrooms. Participants emphasize the ongoing importance of civil rights efforts to maintain democracy. The exhibits will for two weeks, with 35 teachers attending each week.

SUMMARY: The 44th Annual Okaily in Balwin saw a strong turnout, with growing crowds and more vendors than ever since COVID. Attendees enjoyed various activities, bouncy houses, a car show, and like Bingo. Festival-goers expressed their excitement about the diverse offerings, such as goat plates and the to make new friends. New features this year included a rodeo and a petting zoo, enhancing the overall experience. Overall, the festival provided a fun atmosphere for families and friends to connect and enjoy various attractions.
