Clinton hosts July 4th Red, White & Blue Fest
SUMMARY: Traceway Park is hosting an unforgettable evening of fireworks, music, and family-friendly entertainment for Independence Day. Tia McKenzie from 12 News reports live from Clinton. The festivities, known as the Red, White, and Blue Fest, include vendors, food trucks, games, and inflatables suitable for all ages. Highlights include giant twister, cornhole, vendors like Snowbiz, Girl Scouts of America, and Metta Dessert Bar. Blitz 16: Week 6
SUMMARY: In this week‘s Blitz, the Clinton Arrows secured a dominant 42-7 victory over the Terry Bulldogs, aiming to regain momentum after two losses. Heidelberg VFD receives $10,000 grant
SUMMARY: The Heidelberg Volunteer Fire Department is expanding its fleet with a $10,000 grant from State Farm’s Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program, just in time for National Fire Prevention Week. The funding will help the department purchase equipment for a new pumper truck, which they ordered in January 2023 for $320,000. Chief Prince Henley notes that while the truck will arrive soon, it won’t be fully equipped, requiring transfers from older trucks. Many of their vehicles exceed the typical 15-year lifespan, leading to costly repairs. The department has already received over 254 calls this year, emphasizing the need for support in small towns.

New Laurel family health building named in honor of long-time doctor
