Jackson DUI suspect wants evidence thrown out in case
SUMMARY: Jada Kelly, accused of killing two people in a DUI crash in Jackson, Mississippi, seeks to have evidence of her alleged intoxication thrown out. Her lawyer aims to suppress a breathalyzer test result showing her blood alcohol level was 0.18, over twice the legal limit of 0.08, claiming the test is unreliable and she wasn't properly informed of her right to refuse it. The crash occurred on January 15, 2023, at the intersection of I-55 North Frontage Road and Canton Mart Road, resulting in the deaths of Azure Higgins and Valerie Lynch. Kelly faces aggravated DUI charges.
