Ernie Hudson and Valarie Pettiford preview “The Family Business”
SUMMARY:
Ernie: Working on five seasons of the show with the cast and crew, especially Valerie, has been amazing. The show is based on Carl Weber's books but differs slightly, exploring family dynamics, particularly within Black families, in a unique way that's both powerful and representative of American life.
Valerie: Over five seasons, we've grown as characters and as a community. I felt particularly free this year, and I'm excited to see where my character, Chippy, goes next. Being part of this cast and crew has been a blessing.
Why Watch the Show: It's a great show with a fantastic cast and compelling stories. It delves into family, drama, and the American dream's costs, showcasing Black family dynamics authentically and powerfully.
