VIDEO: Several high school athletic programs are finishing in the top 10 of the MHSAA All-Sports
SUMMARY: The MHSAA has been announcing their All Sports Award honors, recognizing the top athletic programs across Mississippi. This week, they named winners in the 3A, 4A, and 5A classifications, with several top programs hailing from Northeast Mississippi. In 3A, Kossuth placed second, Alcorn Central third, and Booneville Blue Devils fourth. In 4A, the Caledonia Cavaliers took first place, with New Albany Bulldogs in third and Itawamba AHS Indians tying for fourth. For 5A, the Corinth Warriors claimed first place, Lafayette Commodores second, and Pontotoc third.

Fallen tree causes power outage in Byram

Mississippi Children's Museum Meridian: Magic Monday, Summer Camps & Sensory Friendly Hours
SUMMARY: Claire Huff from the MCM Meridian Children's Museum discussed their “Magic Mondays,” featuring themed activities around the 4th of July, including storytime. Interview: MHP’s Sgt. Bryan McGee talks Fourth of July travel safety
SUMMARY: The 4th of July holiday is in full swing, with many people already traveling despite the holiday being on Thursday. The Mississippi Highway Patrol is also actively patrolling to ensure safety.
