Southern Transportation Commissioner talks I-10 widening, closed Hwy 90 bridge into Louisiana

Resident, parrot rescued from mobile home fire in Harrison County
SUMMARY: A fire alarm sounded in a mobile home in Harrison County off Highway 53, leading to one person being hospitalized. Multiple fire crews responded, extinguishing the blaze and tearing out the ceiling to ensure the fire was fully out.
