Besides cleaning, newspapers are excellent fire starters, wrapping fragile items, and protecting surfaces during messy projects. They also serve as barriers, liners, and wrapping materials. Clippings of obituaries, sports photos, and wedding announcements found in old newspapers make sentimental keepsakes. Newspapers, whether read or repurposed, remain valuable in various household tasks.
