State of Mississippi launches Farmer's Market Initiative

Family-friendly summer fun happening at TrainTastic

Happening July 4: City of Ocean Springs hosting Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks
SUMMARY: Ocean Springs is hosting a major Independence Day celebration on July 3rd at Fort Maury Park on Front Beach, starting at 6 PM. Raven Floyd, the city's public relations officer, highlights that the event will feature a music tribute by UNF Band, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, and fireworks over the water at around 9 PM. The fireworks display is particularly iconic, offering reflections on the water with the Ocean Springs BXI bridge in the background. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers. Parking is available along Front Beach, side streets, and the harbor.
A big Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks are set for later this week in Ocean Springs.

Local church holds public baptism on the beach in Ocean Springs
SUMMARY: Ocean Springs Mosaic Church held a public baptism at Front Beach, Ocean Springs, for the second year, helping many practice their faith. This year, 57 people were baptized, with participants expressing life-changing experiences. One attendee shared, “I've been wanting to get baptized for a while now… going under the water and coming back up really feels like my life has changed.” The Harrison County Campus holds services on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. at Deerville Middle School, while the Ocean Springs campus meets on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
For the second year, hundreds of people filled Front Beach in Ocean Springs to hold a public baptism.
