Petal community remembers three teens killed in crash

SUMMARY: The city of Ped is mourning the loss of three teenagers, Bernard Pton, Nicholas Warren, and Katie Keys, who died in a crash at the intersection of River Road and BNB Loop on Monday night. The three had recently graduated from Pedal High School on May 17. The Forest County Sheriff’s Department states that the cause of the crash is still under investigation, and two other individuals were critically injured. The loss has deeply affected both the school and the community. A GoFundMe has been established to assist with funeral and medical expenses. The community is focused on supporting the grieving families.
