Eupora Police investigating reports of possible child abuse at daycare

The footage shows a woman, presumably a daycare worker, placing her foot on a child and forcibly holding another against a window. Witness Tanya Gaisin recorded the incidents, expressing shock and concern. Despite alerting the daycare, one worker was seen still on duty. Multiple parents have reported the incidents to Upur police, who are continuing the investigation.

USA Track and Field Junior Olympics coming to Jackson

Competitors aged 18 and under from Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi will vie for qualification to the national meet at Texas A&M later this summer. Events will take place at Hughes Field and Millsaps College, bringing significant economic benefits and inspiring local youth. Organizers seek to make this an annual event with state support, promoting track and field in Mississippi. A parade featuring athletes from the four states will be held on Saturday morning.
