Previously, he served as an administrator in William Carey University’s School of Education. On his first official day, Dr. Cochran emphasized his plan to engage in a listening tour, interacting with faculty, students, and campus groups to establish relationships and understand their stories. With a background in teaching chemistry and psychology at various levels, Dr. Cochran also holds a second Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has extensive experience in mental health care.
