Police arrest teens for murder of MJ Daniels in Hattiesburg

On Friday, June 14, 2024, the Hattiesburg Department three individuals in connection to the capital murder of 21-year-old Marcus MJ Daniels Jr. The suspects, Orlando May (18), Marcus Gardner (17), and Shamar Green (16), were charged with capital murder and attempted armed carjacking. May faces additional charges felony eluding and grand larceny. All three have been booked into the Fars County Regional Jail. The investigation is ongoing, and more arrests and charges may follow. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact the Hattiesburg Police Department or Stoppers. Condolences are extended to the Daniels .

Athletes ready for US Junior Olympics event in their hometown

Silver Alert issued for 56-year-old Winston County man
