Over $2.6 million granted in federal assistance following April 8-11 storms

Following a bloody five-year stretch, Jackson officials boast decreasing homicide rates

Mississippi legislature’s mental health task force to begin meeting July 17-18
SUMMARY: Mississippi lawmakers are addressing mental health through a new K-12 and Postsecondary Mental Health Task Force, established by Senate Bill 2727. Co-chaired by Rep. Rob Roberson and Sen.
