Jury hears details of St. Paddy’s Parade shooting
SUMMARY: Thirteen witnesses have testified in a case involving a shooting incident where witnesses consistently reported seeing Cummings physically and verbally abusing his girlfriend, Jenny Lukens. Cam Owens, a bystander, intervened by hitting Cummings, who then brandished a gun and fired shots, hitting Joshua Spann and Auden Jubilee Simpkins. Witness Tiffany Smith described the chaotic scene and fear among bystanders. Lead investigator Jermaine McGee confirmed these accounts. Prosecutors presented video footage of Cummings claiming he acted in self-defense, alleging that Owens and others had threatened him with guns.
